Rush Enterprises Telematics Solutions Specialist in New Braunfels, Texas

The Telematics Solutions Specialist is responsible for managing and enhancing telematics platforms for fleet customers by designing custom reports, resolving technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Customer solutions ticketing portal for Tier 1 & 2 support assignments.

  • Provide escalation management on critical cases, collaborating with Support, Sustaining Engineering, and/or Development to ensure regular status updates to the customer.

  • Participate in integration projects, understanding and optimizing process workflows.

  • Conduct discovery calls with prospective customers to recommend the best technology solutions for their fleet requirements.

  • Create customized reports tailored to customer needs.

  • Collaborate with the Development Team for additional software/hardware integrations as needed.

  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Sales, Engineering, and Product Management teams.

  • Travel as required by the Director of Technology Sales for large sales presentations.

  • Continuously learn and expand your technical knowledge of the telematics ecosystem.

    Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Geotab products and solutions.

  • At least 5 years in the telematics industry, with a strong understanding of fleet management technologies.

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs and support revenue goals.

  • Proficient in creating customized reports and analyzing data to meet specific customer requirements.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

  • Comfortable engaging with clients in both technical and non-technical discussions.

  • Experience in data analytics and integrations, participating in projects to optimize process workflows.

  • Familiarity with programming logic and a commitment to continuous learning within the telematics ecosystem.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.

  • Experience with interpreting and utilizing data through SQL queries, API integrations, and data management platforms such as Google BigQuery; ability to collaborate with technical teams to implement solutions without direct coding responsibilities. This is a change

  • Track customer success and monitor product features, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.

  • Ensure successful resolution of customer issues in a timely manner.

  • Work closely with sales and development teams to align efforts and strategies.

  • Assist with end-user requirements on special projects..
